Hubungan Pengetahuan Literasi Digital Orang Tua Dengan Persepsi Orang Tua Terhadap Pengetahuan Literasi Digital Siswa Sekolah Dasar
This research is motivated by the digital literacy ability of parents who are in the low category according to previous relevant research. This is interesting for researchers to examine the relationship between parents’ digital literacy knowledge and parents’ perceptions of elementary school students’ digital literacy knowledge. Digital literacy in this study is based on four indicators, namely, Information, Communication, Content Creation, and Safety. Meanwhile, to measure perception based on three indicators, namely, attention, experience, and knowledge. This study aims to determine the relationship between parents’ digital literacy knowledge and parents’ perceptions of elementary school students’ digital literacy knowledge. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, namely 80 respondents. This study used correlational quantitative methods with data analysis used in hypothesis testing, namely the product-moment correlation test. The results of this study with a significance value of 1,319 < 1,66, indicate that there is no significant relationship between parents’ digital literacy knowledge and parents’ perceptions of elementary school students’ digital literacy knowledge. The correlation coefficient value is 0,148, which results are included in the very weak category (not correlated) in the correlation test, Ha is rejected, Ho is accepted, and it can be concluded that there is a positive but not significant relationship.
