ABSTRACT
According to Mahardika (in M.Kautsar Nur Rochman, 2017) Road Transport Traffic
Safety Facilities (KLLAJ) are all parts of the road and there are several criteria as considerations
to optimize the safety of road users including traffic signs, road markings, traffic signaling
devices. traffic, street lighting devices, controllers and road user safety devices. The purpose of
installing road equipment facilities is to improve safety and provide regular movement of road
users.
From the explanation above, it is necessary to review the existing road equipment on H.
Imam Munandar Street Pekanbaru. Therefore, the author is interested in analyzing the existing
road equipment on Soekarno-Hatta Street Pekanbaru.
Based on the survey that has been done by the author and the discussion regarding the
review of the need for road equipment facilities on Soekarno-Hatta Street Pekanbaru, it can be
concluded that there are 4 (four) equipment facilities available on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta
Pekanbaru. road from 9 (nine) road equipment facilities, namely road markings, traffic signs,
street lighting devices, traffic signaling devices and noise tapes, while the facilities that do not
yet exist are bend mirrors, safety fences, traffic delineators and tools. road user controller.
