ABSTRACT
The process of implementation on contruction work of MAN 4 pekanaru’s dormitory bulding run into tardiness which is caused by the addendum of addition and reduction of work causing the lack of weekly job load in result. This project started on september 12th 2020 on 96 calendar days. to avoid tardiness on this work project, addition of working days and overtime hours have been added. Critical path method is used to acknowledge critical lane, where a work project could not be postponed. By analyzing the optimized work on the building construction of MAN 4 Pekanbaru’s dormitory building, and analyzing the optimal duration which obtained after the addition of working hours on the critical path. the optimal acceleration on this project is addressed on Work preparation, Work Health and Safety, 1st floor Structural work/ concrete, Wall work and 1st floor plastering, 2nd floor Structural work/ concrete, DAG floor structural work, Wall work and 2nd floor plastering, ceiling frame work, 2nd floor floor work and outside the building work. Along with the changes, the total of duration with the previous one from 96 days become 80 days of work.
