Ex-tin mining generate environtmental problems of that ecologycal, social
and economic. To restore environmental functions and empower communities
reclamation area, need reclamation efforts.
The research aims to examine the characteristics of reclamation land and
milestone of reclamation and use of reclamation land, were evaluated future and
community empowerment were studies. This research is anticipated to be utilized
as input and consideration by corporations and the government in their efforts to
utilize reclaimed mining land.
The results revealed that the reclaimed land's soil texture was sandy and its
structure was moderate to hard, with a slightly acidic soil pH, low organic
carbon, low total nitrogen, and a very low cation exchange capacity (CEC). The
phases of reclamation land include land clearing, land use management,
sedimentation and erosion control, soil and water management, reforestation, and
maintenance. Apparently the success rate was 90%, which categorized good, with
the final result that such outcomes of the reclamation integration can be approved
by using the agroedutourism concept of land. However, efforts to use the
reclamation land of Air Jangkang for community empowerment in Sinar
Rembulan Hamlet remain insufficient.
