Pengaruh Nilai Tukar Dan Produk Domestik Bruto Terhadap Neraca Perdagangan (Studi Kasus Indonesia Dengan Jepang Periode 2005-2020)

Abstract
This research is motivated by a discrepancy between theory and facts
and data that occurs, on the object of research, the trade balance between
Indonesia and Japan.
This study aims to analyze the effect of the exchange rate and Gross
Domestic Product on Indonesia's trade balance with Japan in the period 2005-
2020. The type of data used is quantitative data with secondary data collection
techniques obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, Bank Indonesia, and the
Ministry of Trade.
The data used in this study are the exchange rate, Indonesia's Gross
Domestic Product, and Indonesia's trade balance with Japan for the period 2005-
2020. The analytical model used is multiple linear regression.
The results of the study showing that the exchange rate has a significant
and positive effect on Indonesia's trade balance with Japan, and Gross Domestic
Product also has a significant and negative effect on Indonesia's trade balance
with Japan.
