Evaluasi Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Di Mts Fadhilah Dan SMP It Imam Syafi’i 2 Pekanbaru
We cannot avoid the arrival of covid-19, in 2020 coinciding with February
the world was shocked by the incidence of severe infections originating from
Wuhan, Pekanbaru city, Riau province, also including areas exposed to covid-19.
This study aims to: (1) find out and analyze how the context of the implementation
of learning during the covid-19 pandemic at MTs Fadhilah and SMP IT Imam
Syafi'i 2 Pekanbaru, (2) find out what inputs / inputs for implementing learning
during the pandemic period at MTs Fadhilah and SMP IT Imam Syafi'i 2
Pekanbaru, (3) knowing and analyzing how the process of implementing learning
during the pandemic at MTs Fadhilah and SMP IT Imam Syafi'i 2 Pekanbaru, and
(4) knowing what the products of learning implementation during the pandemic
were at MTs Fadhilah and SMP IT Imam Syafi'i 2 Pekanbaru.
The research method used is qualitative research. The results showed that: a.
context evaluation, at MTs Fadhilah applied 2 models of the learning process
during the pandemic, namely online learning models and limited face-to-face
learning, while at SMP IT Imam Syafi'i applied 3 learning models, namely online
learning, hybrid learning, and limited face-to-face learning. b. evaluation of
inputs, all organizational structures at MTs Fadhilah and SMP IT Imam Syafi'i 2
Pekanbaru were involved in the learning process during the covid-19 pandemic
starting from the Foundation, all school residents and parents. The school also
provides health protocol equipment for teachers and all students. At MTs
Fadhilah the facilities and infrastructure remain the same as normal learning,
because they have carried out online learning, the school facilitates wifi for
teachers, students at MTs Fadhilah on average do not have their own cellphones
so using their parents' cellphones for online learning is also the biggest drawback
in MTs fadhilah during online learning. c. process evaluation, online learning at
MTs Fadhilah only lasts for 1 semester starting from March 16, 2020 to June
2020, in the online learning process at MTs Fadhilah most teachers only use the
WhatsApp application, the teacher sends a video or power point and students are
told to play it later on giving assignments, this makes many parents or guardians
of students complain that their children are lazy when studying online, therefore
the head of MTs Fadhilah made the decision to implement limited face-to-face
learning, which runs for 2 years from July 2020 to June 2022, while at IT Imam
Syafi'i 2 Junior High School Pekanbaru online learning lasts for 1 year starting
from March 16, 2020 to February 2021, in the online process at the IT Imam
Syafi'i Junior High School the teacher uses several applications including
whatsapp, zoom and google class room. In addition to limited face-to-face
learning, SMP IT Imam Syafi'i 2 Pekanbaru also applies hybrid learning and only
lasts for a few months from March to June 2021, this hybrid learning process runs
in two processes where at the beginning of the application, online and offline
learning are carried out simultaneously. However, a process like this makes it
difficult for the teacher not to make it easier because the teacher teaches at two
different times, the second process runs offline in the morning and the online one

in the afternoon, meaning the teacher teaches 2 times in 1 class. After
implementing hybrid learning at the IT Imam Syafi'i Junior High School, there is
also limited face-to-face learning from July 2021 to June 2022. The limited faceto-
face learning process at the IT Imam Syafi'i Junior High School takes place by
reducing the lesson hours to half, which is usually 2 hours of lessons. to 1 hour
lesson. During this limited face-to-face learning, the school provides health
protocols for teachers and students. d. Product evaluation, at MTs Fadhilah, it
was felt that limited face-to-face learning was more effectively used for learning
during the COVID-19 pandemic, judging from the student scores there was a
decline during online learning and at MTs Fadhilah this week, the number of
students increased by up to 20% when implementing learning. Face-to-face
contact is limited because it has been implemented earlier than other schools. nd
at SMP IT Imam Syafi'i 2 it is also more effective limited face-to-face learning
than others because when face-to-face learning is limited, students directly
communicate with teachers and classmates and it is also seen from the quality of
learning that there are still many materials that are not achieved during the
period of online learning and hybrid learning. However, SMP IT Imam Syafi'i has
a trick to overcome in terms of grades, namely for grades that are not equated
with normal learning targets, such as for exam questions, the number of questions
is reduced and the weight is reduced, for example, the difficult ones are usually
20% to 10%, questions that are easy and which are being reproduced so that it is
biased to overcome student scores. From the results of this study, the researchers
also found that the principal of MTs Fadhilah and SMP IT Imam Syafi'i 2
Pekanbaru applied a participatory leadership model and situational leadership
style.
