ABSTRACT
Schools as formal educational institutions, have a great responsibility to develop all the potential of students. Schools also have a duty to shape the character of students through disciplinary rules. But in reality, many students no longer ignore the disciplinary rules that exist in the school environment. SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru experiences difficulties in monitoring disciplinary violations by students because they still use the manual method there are difficulties when looking for violations that have occurred previously and the violation data is not well captured. The purpose of this research is to build a Web-Based Information System for Monitoring Student Discipline Violations so that data on student violations is well-captured and makes it easier for the student sector to manage student violations for further action. By using a web-based system, it is easier to find student violation histories. Making this information system using the programming languages HTML, PHP and MySQL as the database. While designing with UML (Unified modeling language), The system built will make it easier for SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru in recording and search the history of student violations.
