Peranan Mayor Soetrisno Sukardono Sebagai Pejuang Operasi Seroja (1975-1976)
Major Soetrisno Sukardono was one of the figures in the military field of the Indonesian Army, which operated in Operation Seroja (1975-1976). Major Soetrisno Sukardono was the fifth of eight children and had a role in Operation Seroja (1975-1976). The purpose of this study is to find out the background of the life of Major Soetrisno Sukardono, to find out the role of Major Soetrisno Sukardono as a fighter figure (1975-1976), to find out what the role of Major Soetrisno Sukardono after the Seroja operation. Data analysis used the historical writing method which consisted of several stages, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The result of this research is that Major Soetrisno Sukardono attended military education to get a higher rank. Major Soetrisno Sukardono (1975-1976) carried out Operation Seroja in order to defend Indonesia from East Timor in the event of a civil war or cold war. He was assigned as a danru to lead a member consisting of 9 members and was responsible for its members. Major Soetrisno Sukardono after the Seroja Operation in East Timor has been completed. In 1979 he was transferred to Pekanbaru because of a letter of assignment given by his commander, and Major Soetrisno Sukardono was assigned to Korem 031 Pekanbaru, over time he became a special officer (Pekas). Pekas is the assistant leadership staff in the field of financial shipping management. Carry out receipts and storage of cash and bank money, as well as payments to third parties on the basis of filing legal bills for the military. He also acts as an advisor at the Korem. While carrying out his duties, he eventually rose to the rank of Major until in 2003 Major Soetrisno Sukardono retired, and is now Secretary at LVRI Riau Province.
