Pengaruh Kompetensi Pedagogik Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Guru SMA Kecamatan Rupat Kabupaten Bengkalis

This study aims to determine the effect of pedagogic competence and work
motivation on job satisfaction of high school teachers, Rupat District, Bengkalis
Regency. The population in this study were all high school teachers in Rupat
District, Bengkalis Regency, totaling 109 respondents, the research sample was
86 respondents. The data analysis used is correlation analysis, regression
coefficient, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that
there is a positive and significant effect of pedagogic competence (X1) on teacher
job satisfaction (Y) with a determinant coefficient = (0.930)2x100 = 86.4%. There
is also a positive and significant effect of work motivation (X2) with teacher job
satisfaction (Y) with a determinant coefficient = (0.943)2x100 = 88.9%. While the
effect of pedagogic competence (X1) and work motivation (X2) on teacher job
satisfaction (Y) has a coefficient of determination of r2y1.2 = (0.953)2x100 =
90.8%. The conclusion of the variables of pedagogic competence and work
motivation on job satisfaction of high school teachers in Rupat District, Bengkalis
Regency has a positive direction.
