Uji Formulasi Pupuk Hayati Berbasis Bahan Organik Padat Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt)
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of several formulations of solid
biological fertilizers with the addition of cellulolytic bacteria consortium inoculants
and to obtain the best formulation to increase the growth and yield of sweet corn.
The field experiment was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of
Agriculture, Riau University, located in Pekanbaru. The study was conducted
experimentally using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of six
treatments with three replications. The treatments tested were: without biofertilizer
formulation; 100 ml of consortium inoculants + 75% tofu dregs + 25% dolomite;
100 ml of consortium inoculants + 75% rice straw + 25% dolomite; 100 ml
consortium inoculant + 75% solid + 25% dolomite; 100 ml of consortium inoculants
+ 75% peat + 25% dolomite; 100 ml of consortium inoculant + 75% rice husk +
25% dolomite. Parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, length of the
ear, diameter of the ear, weight of cob with cob, weight of cob without cob. The
results showed that all treatments had not been able to significantly increase the
growth response and yield of sweet corn plants, and all formulations of biofertilizers
with cellulolytic bacteria consortium inoculants tested had not found the best
formulation.
