The Wing Palace is a relic of the Pelalawan Kingdom which is located in Pelalawan Village, Pelalawan District and Pelalawan Regency. This study discusses the process of restoring the Wing Palace. The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) The background of the restoration of the Wing Palace in Pelalawan Regency, 2) The process of the first restoration of the Wing Palace in Pelalawan Regency (2003-2009), 3) The second restoration process of the Wing Palace in Pelalawan Regency (2015-2016). ), 4) The impact of the Wing Palace after the restoration on people's lives in Pelalawan Regency (2003-2016). In this study, the author uses historical research methods, which include 1) Heuristics, 2) Verification, 3) Interpretation, 4) Historiography. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of this study are the background of the first restoration due to the collapse of the Wing Palace building which was rotten by termites and often flooded, while the second restoration was in the background by a fire disaster which scorched almost all parts of the Wing Palace. The first restoration process was financed by PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (PT. RAPP) where the late Tenas Effendy was the architect. The second restoration process is carried out through the Pelalawan Regency regional budget. The impact of the restoration of the Wing Palace on the economy, among others, is in terms of trading souvenirs or souvenirs typical of Pelalawan which are widely sold by the community around the Wing Palace, assistant staff managing the Wing Palace, and tourist visits, while in the field of education includes field trips visits that make the Wing Palace as a tourist attraction. history learning resources, besides that there is additional material devoted to local content subjects. The impact in the socio-cultural field is that many of the traditions and customs of the Pelalawan sultanate have been revived.
