Penggunaan Naungan Dan Pemberian Pupuk Kalium Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Okra (Abelmaschus Esculentus L.)

ABSTRACT
Okra is africa origin tropical plant and widely cultivated in various tropic and subtropic countries. Purpose of this study to determine effect of potassium on okra growth and productivity at several shading levels, and obtain the best level of pottasium in okra culvatio on Riau Province. The study was conducted in the Horticulture UPT Agriculture Faculty, Univesity of Riau, on March-June 2022. This study was experimentally using split plot design based on fully randomized design (CRD) using two factor. First plot is 3 levels of shading, N0= no shading (control), N1= 50% of shading, N2= 75% of shading. Second plot is 4 level of pottasium, K0= no pottasium, K1= 50 kg.ha-1 pottasium, K2= 75 kg.ha-1 pottasium, K3= 100 kg.ha-1 pottasium. Data were further tested using DNMRT at 5% level. The result showed interaction using 75% of shading and 100 kg.ha-1 pottasium to plant height, fruith length and fruith weight. Using 75% shading showed plant height and fruith weight. Using 100 kg.ha-1 pottasium showed plant height, total fruit per plant, fruit lenghth, fruit diameter and fruit weight.
