Pengaruh Kompetensi Profesional Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru Madrasah Aliyah Se-Kota Dumai

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of professional
competence and work motivation on the performance of Madrasah Aliyah
teachers throughout Dumai City. The population in this study were all Madrasah
Aliyah teachers in Dumai City totaling 135 respondents, the research sample was
101 respondents. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics and
descriptive inferential. The results of this study indicate that the effect of
professional competence on teacher performance is 60.4%, there is an influence
of work motivation on teacher performance of 62.6% and the effect of
professional competence and work motivation on teacher performance is 70.2%.
