Penerapan Metode Role Playing Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI IPS 1 Di SMA Negeri 1 Langgam
This research is motivated by the problems found in learning history in class XI IPS 1
at SMA Negeri 1 langgam. Students are less active and tend to be passive in learning, lack of
teacher creativity to use varied learning methods, lack of student focus and tend to do activities
that do not exist. relationship with learning history and the low results of students' test scores
in history learning. The purpose of this study was to determine teacher activities, student
activities, and student learning outcomes in learning history in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1
Langgam by using the Role Playing method. This research method is a classroom action
research that conducts diret researchon students using the theory of the kemmis taggart. The
analysis technique used is teacher activity, student activity, pretest-postest and student
absorption. The results of this study indicate that the average acquisition of teacher activities
based on the results of observations of learning activities using the Role Playing method in the
first cycle was 72.9%, then increased in the second cycle by 85.4%. The average percentage of
student learning activities obtained in the first cycle was 74.83 while in the second cycle it was
84.56. The students' classical learning outcomes in the first cycle were 70% while in the second
cycles the students' classical learning outcomes were 93.3%. Based on the results of these
studies, it can be concluded that the application of the Role Playing method can improve
student learning outcomes in history learning in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Langgam.
