Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Probing Promting Pada Pembelajaran Sejarah Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI IPS 1 Di SMA Negeri 1 Kundur
This research aims to determine the activities of teachers and students
in the implementation of the probing promting model in learning history to
improve student learning outcomes and to find out the observations of this model
in learning history to improve student learning outcomes in class XI IPS 1 SMA
Negeri 1 Kundur. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which
is carried out in the classroom with the aim of improving and enhancing student
learning outcomes through the probing promting model. The implementation of
this research consists of two cycles which have previously been carried out precycle
first. Cycle I consisted of activity planning, action implementation,
observation, and reflection. While cycle II is a refinement or improvement of the
reflection results of cycle I. Based on the results of the research that has been
done, the results for the teacher's activities are obtained in cycle I (73.07%) in the
less category and cycle II (86.53%) in the very good category. Then student
activity through the probing promting model was obtained in cycle I (84.61%)
and cycle II (86.53%). While student learning outcomes increased by 534 with the
number of students who completed 23 students and there was an increase in cycle
II with an average of 848 with the number of students who completed 29 students.
