Implementasi Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Gaung Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
This research aims to determine the activities of teachers and students in
the problem based learning (PBL) model and to find out the observations of the
model in history learning to increase student motivation in class XI IPS 2 SMAN
1 Gaung, Indragiri Hilir Regency. This type of research is classroom action
research (CAR) which is carried out in the classroom aimed at systematically
improving and improving the quality of learning by teachers and students. The
implementation of this research consisted of two cycles which had previously
been carried out in a pre-cycle. Cycle I consists of planning activities,
implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. While the second cycle is a
refinement or improvement of the results of the reflection of the first cycle. Based
on the results of the research that has been carried out, the results for the teacher's
activities in the first cycle (81.25%) are in the good category and the second cycle
(90.62%) in the very good category. Then student activities through problem
based learning (PBL) models were obtained in cycle I (78.12%) and cycle II
(87.5%). While the implementation of the PBL model based on the character
values of the Tengku Sulung figure can increase students' learning motivation
with the results of the first cycle (79.08%) and cycle II (82.16%) with a very good
category, so it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model ( PBL)
can increase students' motivation in learning history for class XI IPS 2 SMAN 1
GAUNG, Indragiri Hilir Regency.
