Pengaruh Strategi Teka-Teki Silang Berbantuan Software Proprofs Quiz Maker Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah Kelas XI IPS Man 2 Indragiri Hilir
Madrasah Aliah Negeri (MAN) 2 Indragiri Hilir is a Islamic Education
institution whose educational achievement is equivalent to that of high school,
which was established in 1980. This study aims (1) to determine whether there is
an effect of the crossword strategy on students motivation in learning history in
class XI IPS MAN 2 Indragiri Hilir and to find out (2) how much influence the
crossword strategy has on students motivation in learning history of class XI IPS
MAN 2 Indragiri Hilir. This type of research is quantitative research. Using
simple linear regression analysis survey and verification methods. The
independent variable is the students perception of the crossword puzzle strategy
assisted by the proprofs quiz maker software and the dependent variable is the
students motivation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that in
simple linear regression analysis the regression coefficient is positive at 0.312.
Based on the normality test, linearity obtained positive and normal results.
However, based on the significance value of the coefficients table, a significance
value of 0.290 > 0.05 is obtained, ho is accepted, meaning that the X variable has
no effect on the Y variable. Based on the t value, it is known that the tcount value
is 1.072 < t table 2.021, ho is accepted, meaning that the X variable has no effect
on the Y variable. Thus, the need for innovative learning strategies applied by
teachers must be adapted to the character and needs of class XI students at MAN
2 Indragiri Hilir.
