Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional Dan Konsep Diri Terhadap Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah Sekolah Dasar Se Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and selfconcept
on the academic supervision of elementary school principals in Bangko
District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The background of the problem in this research is
that it is found that the pre-observation phenomenon carried out in Elementary
Schools 1-5 Schools is still found by the Headmaster carrying out supervision not
optimally in accordance with the provisions of the assessment in Bangko District,
Rokan Hiilir Regency such as providing personality and social skills, learning
leadership, school development, resource management, entrepreneurship,
learning supervision. Whereas. If the teacher continues to carry out his duties
with the provisions that have been set, the quality of learning and the quality of
teachers will increase, but will be higher. Therefore, it is necessary to increase
the application of the principal's academic supervision to improve the quality of
learning and the quality of teachers. The population in this study was the
Principal of Elementary Schools in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency with a
total of 37 people. Sampling in this study was carried out using a simple random
sampling technique so that a sample of 34 teachers was obtained. The data
collection technique used is a questionnaire. The questionnaire (questionnaire)
was conducted by providing responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert
scale. Analysis of the data used is inferential statistics. After conducting research
and data analysis, it was found that the positive and significant influence of
emotional intelligence on the academic supervision of elementary school
principals in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency was 16.1%. It was found that
the positive and significant effect of self-concept on the academic supervision of
elementary school principals in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency was 14.8%.
It was found that the positive and significant influence of emotional intelligence
and self-concept on the academic supervision of the Principal of Elementary
Schools in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency was 21.2%.
