Pengaruh Kecerdasan Sosial Dan Altruisme Terhadap Etos Kerja Wali Kelas Di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Tapung Kabupaten Kampar

This research raises the issue of 1) Is there a significant and positive
influence between social intelligence on the work ethic of the homeroom teacher
work ethic at Tapung District Public Middle School, Kampar Regency?, 2) Is
there a significant and positive influence between altruism on the homeroom
teacher's work ethic in Tapung District Public Middle School, Kampar Regency?,
3) Is there a significant and positive influence between social intelligence and
altruism together on the work ethic of the homeroom teacher at Tapung District
Public Middle School, Kampar Regency?
This study aims to examine and analyze 1) the effect of social intelligence on
the homeroom teacher's work ethic at SMP Negeri Tapung District, Kampar
Regency, 2) the influence of altruism on the work ethic of homeroom teachers at
SMP Negeri Tapung District, Kampar Regency, 3) the influence between social
intelligence and altruism together for the work ethic of the homeroom teacher at
SMP Negeri Tapung District, Kampar Regency.
This study used a quantitative approach using the ex post facto method, the
study population consisted of 120 homeroom teachers at Tapung District Public
Junior High School, and using a simple random sampling technique, a sample of
92 homeroom teachers was obtained. Data collection techniques were carried out
using questionnaires and analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and
inferential statistical analysis. Data processing for this study used Microsoft
Excel and SPSS version 22 for Windows.
The results showed that 1) there is a significant and positive influence
between social intelligence on the homeroom teacher's work ethic, 2) there is a
significant and positive effect between altruism on the homeroom teacher's work
ethic, and 3) there is a significant and positive effect between social intelligence
and joint altruism towards the work ethic of homeroom teachers at SMP Negeri
Tapung District, Kampar Regency.
