Pengaruh Produk Domestik Regional Bruto, Nilai Tukar Rupiah Dan Inflasi Terhadap Penanaman Modal Asing Di Provinsi Riau Tahun 2003-2020

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product, Rupiah Exchange Rate, and inflation on Foreign Investment in Riau Province in 2003-2020. The data used in this study is secondary data that is time series. In this study the method used as an analytical tool is Ordinary Least Square (OLS) to determine changes in the value of the dependent variable, namely) Foreign Investment in Riau Province which is influenced by independent variables, namely Gross Regional Domestic Product, Rupiah Exchange Rate and inflation by using multiple linear regression technique. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, namely explaining the results of computerization using the E-Views 10 program.
The results of the analysis show that simultaneously GRDP, Exchange Rate, inflation Index have a significant effect on Foreign Investment in Riau Province in 2003-2020. Partially, GRDP has a positive and insignificant effect on foreign investment in Riau Province in 2003-2020. Exchange Rate has a positive and significant effect on foreign investment in Riau Province in 2003-2020 and the inflation has a positive and insignificant effect on foreign investment in Riau Province in 2003-2020
The result of the Coefficient of Determination (R2) is carried out to see how big the proportion of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable is. In this case, the value of the coefficient of determination used is Adjusted R-Squared which is the coefficient of determination that has been corrected by the number of variables and sample size. Then it is known that the Adjusted R-Squared value is 0.732683 or 73,26%. This indicates that 73,26% changes in foreign investment in Riau Province in 2003-2020 were caused by changes in Gross Regional Domestic Product, Exchange Rate and Consumer Price Index. While the remaining 26,74% changes in Foreign Investment in Riau Province in 2003-2020 were caused by changes in other variables that were not used in the study.
