ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the effect of per capita GRDP, interest rates
and inflation on the number of people's savings at private banks in Pekanbaru
City in 2010-2020. This research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru with the
aim of using data for the period 2010 - 2020 is to produce accurate estimates and
conclusions about the variables studied and can find out the interpretation of the
object of research using annual data for 11 years.
The method of analysis in this study uses secondary data which is
classified as time series data which is descriptive and quantitative. The data
analysis technique in this study uses multiple linear regression model estimation
with statistical tests (t test, F test, coefficient of determination R2), classical
assumption test.
The results of this study indicate that the GRDP per capita variable has
a positive and significant effect on the amount of people's savings. Interest rates
have a negative and insignificant effect on public savings. Inflation has no effect
on the amount of public savings in private banks in Pekanbaru City in 2010-2020.
