Analisis Alokasi Air Daerah Aliran Sungai Rokan Kiri
ABSTRACT
The availability of water is very influential for fulfill the basic needs of living things, which is water needs. The water needs of Rokan Kiri Watershed have continuesly increase along with the increase of population, meanwhile the water availability is relatively constant, moreover the quantity and the quality of water getting decrease, and causing various problems. The problems that frequently happen are the imbalance between water demand and the amount of water availabality, water use that does not follow the priority of water use, and the changed of the land use, so it becomes a serious consideration for water resource management by doing water allocation. This study aimed to analyzed the balance between of the availability and demand of water and then the allocation of water in The Rokan Kiri Watershed to avoid the deficit of water balanced. This study method was descriptive analysis. The analytical method used were regional method for analyzed water availability, Penman Monteith for analyzed of irrigation water needs, and water balance that analyzed for 3 rainy season scenarios (wet, normal, and dry year). The results of this study were obtained surplus water balance condition for all nodes in the Rokan Kiri Watershed and the water allocation planed that used was a normal year scenario based on the rainy season prediction for the 2022/2023 issued by the BMKG. The water allocation of The Rokan Kiri Watershed does not need to be redesigned because all of the nodes are in surplus condition.
