Evaluasi Kerusakan Jalan Taman Karya Kota Pekanbaru Dengan Metode Pavement Condition Index (Pci)

ABSTRACT
Taman Karya Pekanbaru city’s road is a local secunder road connecting between the activity centers of Pekanbaru City . Where it has a road length of ± 1.5 kilometers, a lane width of 6 meters. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of damage and find out the index value of the bending pavement condition on Taman Karya Pekanbaru city’s road using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method. The study was conducted into 6 segments with a size of 250 meters per segment.
The results of the analysis showed that the damage to Taman Karya city’s road included longitudinal cracks, holes, patches, block cracks, alligator crack, grain removal, transverse cracks, depression,bumps and sgas, and swell . The average index value for Taman Karya Pekanbaru city’s road STA 00 + 000 - STA 01 + 500 is 48.6 with fair road condition. So it is necessary to handle road damage so that the damage that has occurred to road sections does not become more severe so as to reduce the accident rate and provide a sense of security and comfort for road users.
