Efisiensi Pemberian Air Di Saluran Tersier Di Daerah Irigasi Kaiti Samo
ABSTRACT
The Kaiti Samo Irrigation Area is located in Kaiti Village to Batang Samo Village in Rokan Hulu Regency Riau Province's. Kaiti Samo irrigation consists of several connections between weirs, including the Kaiti weir, the Pegadis weir, and the Samo weir. The three weirs are watersheds that are close to each other but are not one stream. If the irrigation water supply cannot be separated, there will be a loss of water in the channel. This water loss is caused by channel conditions, seepage, and channel length. This water loss can affect irrigation water requirements and irrigation efficiency. The purpose of this research is to calculate the efficiency of tertiary irrigation channels in Kaiti Samo.This research method uses primary data and secondary data, primary data such as : water velocity, channel hight, water level, channel width, and channel leght and secondary data in the form of irrigation network schemes. The results of this research for channels made of concrete show that the average water discharge value is 0,023 m3/s, the average water loss value is 0,002 m3/s, the average seepage value is 1,6 x 10-10 m3/m/day, and the average tertiary channel efficiency is 82,081%. This efficiency value is in the proper category because the efficiency value is greater than 80%, according to the Directorate General of Irrigation.
