Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran The Power Of Two Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Kelas XI IPS Di SMA Negeri 2 Gunung Sahilan
This research is motivated by the problems that occur in history learning which is considered monotonous and the lack of student participation in the learning process. In addition, teachers also often use conventional models such as lectures, do not use variations in learning, so that the results of learning history do not increase. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes before and after being given treatment, and to find out whether the power of two learning model can improve student learning outcomes in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 2 Gunung Sahilan. The approach taken by researchers in this study is a quantitative approach. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental Design (pseudo-experiment). The control group pretest-posttest design used two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. One group will be given a treatment called the experimental class and the other group will not be given any treatment called the control class. The data analysis technique in this study uses the t-test statistical test formula to determine the difference in the significance of the two items. The research data were obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test in the form of multiple choice questions. The results of this study showed differences in the learning outcomes of the two classes with the average score for the experimental class being 80.92 and 77.5 for the control class. The results of hypothesis testing using the t test where the calculation results obtained tcount> ttable = 0.05> 0.038. So that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence from the use of the power of two learning model.
