Prediksi Umur Sisa Perkerasan Lentur Berdasarkan Metode Bina Marga 2021 Dan Metode Paterson (Studi Kasus Jalan Nasional Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Ruas Batas Kabupaten Kuansing – Muara Lembu Sta 0+000 Sampai Dengan Sta 2+000)
ABSTRACT
The boundary section of Kuansing Regency - Muara Lembu is one of the national
roads. The road has exceeded its planned lifespan and there has not been any rehandling.
Therefore, the road requires evaluation by analyzing the remaining life
that is still available to serve the traffic load after the planned life has expired. This
research aims to predict the remaining service life based on structural conditions
using the Bina Marga 2021 Method and functional conditions using the Paterson
Method and determine the type of maintenance. The results show that, both methods
that the pavement are still able to serve the existing traffic load even though the
planned life has expired. The remaining service life based on the Bina Marga 2021
Method uses a structural capacity reduction approach based on deflection data in
the form of FWD data. Besides that, the traffic growth rate and ESAL value also
influence it. Meanwhile, the Paterson method uses a functional reduction approach
based on the prediction of the IRI value up to the failure condition when the IRI
value is above 8 m/km, which is influenced by the IRI value in the base year, the
thickness and type of pavement layer, the subgrade CBR value and the cumulative
ESAL value. The maintenance that is in accordance with the structural and
functional conditions of the pavement is 50% requiring structural overlay and 50%
requiring reconstruction.
