Prediksi Umur Sisa Perkerasan Lentur Berdasarkan Perbandingan Metode Bina Marga 2021 Dan Metode Aashto 1993 (Studi Kasus Jalan Nasional Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Ruas Bagan Batu – Simpang Balam Sta 7 + 300 Sampai Dengan Sta 9 + 300)
ABSTRACT
Bagan Batu - Simpang Balam section is one of the national roads in Rokan Hilir district that connects two provinces, namely Riau Province and North Sumatra Province. This road has exceeded the planned age and has not received maintenance again. Therefore, the road requires evaluation by analyzing the remaining life that is still there to serve the traffic load after the planned life is over. The purpose of this research is to predict the remaining life of the pavement based on the Bina Marga 2021 method and the AASHTO 1993 method and to compare the results of the analysis of the two methods. The results of the research based on the Bina Marga 2021 method obtained an average remaining service life on the Bagan Batu section, which was 0,627 years and on the Simpang Balam section, 1,826 years. Meanwhile, based on the AASHTO 1993 method, the remaining service life on the Bagan Batu section was 1 year and on the Simpang Balam section it was 5 years. The difference in the results of the two methods is that the remaining service life using the AASHTO 1993 method is greater than the residual life of the pavement using the Bina Marga 2021 method. This difference is due to differences in data requirements and analysis processes. In the Bina Marga 2021 method the remaining service life is calculated using the remaining pavement structural capacity, traffic growth rate and ESAL value, while in the AASHTO 1993 method the pavement remaining service life is determined by comparing the failure traffic load with the projected traffic load. There are similarities in the results of the analysis using the two methods in which the average remaining service life shows that the pavement is still able to serve the existing traffic load even though the road's design life has expired.
