Analisis Manajemen Pembinaan Karakter Melalui Peran Guru Di Sekolah Islam Terpadu Yayasan Titian Bazma Dumai
In general, the problem of this research is "How is the management of
student character building through the role of teachers in the Integrated Islamic
School of the Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation? The research focused on several
specific issues which include: planning for the character development of students,
organizing the character development of students, the implementation of
character development of students, supervision of character development of
students, and evaluation of character development of students, and evaluation of
character development students at the Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation
Integrated Islamic School.
The purpose of this study is to know and explain the management of
character building, which includes: the process of planning, organizing,
implementing, supervising, and evaluating the character development of students
in the Integrated Islamic Ecolah of the Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation has been
carried out properly and according to procedures or not.
This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the
study were principals, vice principals, teachers and students at the Integrated
Islamic Sekolah Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation which consists of elementary,
middle and high schools. Data collection techniques through observation,
interviews, and documentation. Analysis of research data is carried out through
steps: (1) Data exposure, (2) data reduction and (3) data display, (4) drawing
conclusions. The results of the study present what was obtained about the
management of character development in the IntegratedIslamic Ecolah of the
Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation. After the data is collected and a study is carried
out, the author can get the results of the research that the author has done as
follows:
First, the planning of theIntegrated Islamic Ecolah of the Titian Bazma
Dumai Foundation is categorized as well carried out in accordance with the
established procedures because it is in accordance with the standards for
managing character education. The school in carrying out planning has involved
related elements such as foundations, curriculum drafting teams, teacher
councils, committees. Character development planning in the Integrated Islamic
Ecolah Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation through: 1) socialization of the
character fish pendid curriculum, namely socialization by the curriculum center
and curriculum socialization in the education unit, 2) Preparation of the
curriculum carried out by the education unit.
Second, the organization of character building at the Integrated Islamic
School of the Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation is categorized as well implemented
because overall aspects of the organization are in accordance with the standards
for managing character education. There are two organizations at the Integrated
Islamic School of the Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation, namely 1) the
organization of the Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation, 2) school organizations,

namely SD, SMP and SMA IT Plus Bazma Brilliant, consisting of school
principals, deputy principals, school treasurers, coordinators coordinator and
homeroom teacher. Each unit in the organizational structure has duties,
functions, authorities and responsibilities according to their respective positions
and is carried out with full trust.
Third, the implementation of charactertraining at the Integrated Islamic
School of the Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation is categorized as going well even
though it does not have a manual for the implementation of character building in
accordance with character education management standards. The implementation
of character development in the Integrated Islamic Ecolah of the Titian Bazma
Dumai Foundation through: 1) integration through subjects, character education
values are incorporated into learning tools, namely the syllabus and rpp, 2)
integration through local content subjects, through self-development, consisting of
programmatic activities, routine activities, exemplary activities, spontaneous
activities, and supporting activities, 4) school culture, 5) through conditioning in
the form of providing supporting facilities for character education.
Fourth, the supervisionof character development in the Integrated Islamic
Ecolah of the Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation is categorized as very good and
effective because it is in accordance with the standards of character education
management. Supervision in the Integrated Islamic Ecolah of the Titian Bazma
Dumai Foundation is carried out in the form of direct observation of the
implementation of character development, monitoring the implementation of
character development activities, and evaluation, as well as correction of the
behavior of students, straightening out deviant learner behavior into positive
behavior.
Fifth, the evaluationof character development in the Integrated Islamic
Ecolah of the Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation is categorized as good and
effective, but there is still one aspect that is not in accordance with the standards
of character education management, namely the absence of a character education
assessment instrument. Assessment of the implementation of character
development in the Integrated Islamic Ecolah Titian Bazma Dumai Foundation, in
the form of 1) context, namely policy and carrying capacity, 2) Input, namely
Educators and education personnel, RAS, KTSP / KOSP, students, facilities and
infrastructure, 3) Process, namely through subjects.
As a result of this study, the author concludes that character building
management in the Integrated Islamic Ecolah of the Titian Bazma Dumai
Foundation is categorized as being carried out very well according to the
established procedures, but there are still those that must be completed so that
character building management is more superior and professional. The school
always tries to improve the management of character development which has not
yet been carried out, in order to achieve the goal of character development in this
school.
Based on the results of the research and conclusions above, the author gives
advice to the school to always maintain and improve in character building
management which always involves a very large role of teachers, commitment
from all school residents in the continuity of the maximum character development
process, the quality of cooperative relations with the surrounding community in

order to support the implementation of activities building character, cooperation
with parents of learners in supervision.
