Pengaruh Literasi Digital Dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Komitmen Kerja Guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Se Kecamatan Pekaitan Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to determine the effect of digital literacy on teacher work commitment in Se Public Elementary Schools, Pekaian District, Rokan Hilir Regency. To find out the effect of the work environment on teacher work commitment in public elementary schools in Se Pekaian District, Rokan Hilir Regency. To determine the effect of digital literacy and the work environment on teacher work commitment in Se Public Elementary Schools, Pekaian District, Rokan Hilir Regency.
Pekaian District is one of the areas in Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau. The number of elementary schools in Pekaian District is 11 schools, where in the field the teachers lack the work commitment that is in line with expectations, most of the teachers only work to carry out their daily tasks and obligations. Teacher commitment is one of the important factors that determine the success and continuity of education in the future. Commitment shows who cares, who is dedicated, and who takes the job seriously. Some teachers see their commitment as part of their professional identity, this defines them and a job they enjoy doing. This situation causes the work ethic of teachers to be low, so this will have an impact on the low quality of education as well. This one figure will always be in the strategic spotlight when talking about education issues, because teachers are always related to any component in the education system. Teachers play a major role in the development of education, especially those held formally in schools. The teacher also determines the success of students, especially in relation to the teaching and learning process. The teacher is the component that most influences the creation of quality educational processes and outcomes. Therefore, any improvement efforts made to improve the quality of education will not make a significant contribution without the support of professional and qualified teachers.
The teacher is the most decisive component in the education system as a whole, which must receive central, first and foremost attention. A teacher must have a high commitment to be able to improve his skills. From observations and results of interviews with teachers at five Public Elementary Schools in the District of Pekaian, Rokan Hilir Regency, in terms of teacher work commitment, it shows that 1) Only some teachers are willing to work hard in pursuing the targets set. 2) In terms of achieving the target the teacher has not been able to complete assignments quickly and precisely or work creatively and innovatively. 3) Then the teachers have not shown a caring attitude towards the school where they teach
This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire given to 60 teachers who were randomly selected as a sample using the census sampling method. The research was conducted, namely respondents gave responses to questionnaires in the form of a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear
regression and data processing uses the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program.
Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is a significant influence between digital literacy and teacher commitment. Better digital literacy will support better teacher commitment. There is a significant influence between the work environment on teacher commitment. The better the work environment will affect the more effective the resulting teacher commitment. And the test results show that there is a significant effect between digital literacy and the work environment on teacher commitment. The higher digital literacy and work environment will support better teacher commitment
