Optimalisasi Kinerja Persimpangan Tidak Sebidang Pada Kawasan Perbelanjaan Mall SKA –Living World (Simpang Jalan Tuanku Tambusai – Jalan Soekarno-Hatta) Di Pekanbaru
Intersection Jl. Tuanku Tambusai – Jl. Soekarno - Hatta is a non-level
APILL intersection which is in the SKA - Living World Mall Shopping Area,
Peaknbaru City. This study aims to analyze the performance of the current
intersection and make efforts to deal with existing traffic problems so that there is
an increase in traffic performance at the Jl. Tuanku Tambusai – Jl. Soekarno-
Hatta. The data analysis method used in this study is analysis of intersection
performance which consists of queues, delays and degrees of saturation as well as
analysis of proposed conditions to select scenarios for handling traffic problems
at intersections through PTV Vissim software by comparing the traffic
performance of each handling scenario. Primary data collection was carried out
through direct surveys in the field, namely intersection inventory surveys and
classified turning movement surveys. As for the collection of secondary data
obtained from related agencies that can be used as a guide in dealing with traffic
problems in the study area.
The results of this study indicate that there are 3 scenarios for handling
traffic problems at the Jl Intersection. Tuanku Tambusai – Jl. Soekarno - Hatta,
namely diverting traffic conflicts in scenario 1, setting the cycle time in scenario 2
and widening the road in scenario 3. After comparing the performance of each
scenario, the best traffic problem handling scenario is obtained, namely in
scenario 3 by widening the road on Jl. North Soekarno Hatta and Jl. Tuanku
Tambusai Barat with an average queue length intersection performance of 77.67
m, a delay of 48.78 seconds and a Level Of Serivce C.
