Pengaruh Komik Tematik Tema Bumiku Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Siswa Di Sekolah Dasar

This research study was carried out at SDN 35 Pekanbaru, academic
years 2021/2020, aims to knowing the effect of thematic comics with
the theme of Bumiku toward on students’ concepts understanding in
elementary school. This research used pre experiment method with a
one group pretest posttest group design, which only uses one
experimental class. Based on the result of research conducted on
students of class VI with a total of 30 students, it shows that there is
an influence by using of thematic comics with the theme of Bumiku on
students' concepts understanding in elementary schools. Based on
statistic calculations from the result, mean pretest score is 41,2 and
mean posttest score is 64,8. Based on hypothesis test using
independent sample t test, showed the statistic sig (2-tailed) 0,00 <
0,05, then was accepted and was rejected. Based on r Square
test results, learning using comic media give effect 46% to students'
concepts understanding in elementary schools. Based on N-gain test
results, there was in an increase student' Concepts Understanding
outcome of 0.42 which was included in the medium category. Thus the
thematic comic media can be used as an alternative learning media to
improve students' concepts understanding in elementary schools.
