Karakteristik Marshall Pada Campuran Ac-Wc Dengan Pemanfaatan Kombinasi Limbah Abu Serbuk Kayu Dan Abu Arang Tempurung Kelapa Sebagai Filler
ABSTRACT
Laston Lapis Aus or Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) is a part that is located on the top layer in the flexible pavement of the highway. This layer is the layer that is most susceptible to damage. This pavement layer is a mixture of several materials including asphalt, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and (filler). Filler is a filler material that functions to fill the gaps or cavities that exist between aggregate grains on road pavement. In this study, the filler using sawdust ash and coconut shell charcoal ash. This study aims to determine the Marshall coating AC-WC using a combination of sawdust ash and coconut shell charcoal ash fillers. Determination of optimum asphalt content (KAO) in this study was carried out at asphalt content of 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5% and 7%. The proportions of coconut shell ash and sawdust used in this study were 100% : 0%, 25% : 75%, 50% : 50%, 75% : 25%, 0% : 100%. The specifications used are the General Specifications for Highways 2018 Revision 2 (2020) using the Marshall. The results of this test indicate that the percentages of sawdust and coconut shell charcoal ash that meet the 2018 General Highways Revision 2 (2020) General Specifications are 25%: 75%, 50%: 50% and 75%: 25%. The optimum percentage of coconut shell ash and sawdust for the AC-WC is the percentage of 25%: 75% because it produces the highest stability value of 952.9 kg and the flow, VIM, VMA and MQ values have met the General Specifications for Highways Revision 2 (2020).
