Pengaruh Rasio Tinggi Dan Diameter Benda Uji Terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton Untuk Mutu Beton Fc'15 Mpa
ABSTRACT
Concrete is a mixture consisting of Portland cement or other hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate and water, with or without additives. Along with the addition of age, the concrete will harden and will reach the design strength (fc') at the age of 28 days. One of the factors that affect the compressive strength of concrete in cylindrical concrete is the influence of the ratio of the height of the test object and the influence of the diameter of the test object, where the increasing height of the test object causes a decrease in the compressive strength of the concrete and raises variations in the value of the test results. Likewise with the diameter of the specimen, if the diameter of the specimen is getting smaller, the strength of the concrete will increase. This study aims to determine the effect of the ratio of the height and diameter of the specimen on the compressive strength of concrete for concrete quality fc' 15 MPa for various variations of specimens. This study used the DOE (Department of Environment) method according to SNI 03-2834-2000 with test objects in the form of various concrete cylinders with diameters of 10,15 cm, 12,7 cm, 15,24 cm with a height to diameter ratio with a value of 3; 2.5; 2; 1.5; and 1. 3 samples were made for each variation where 3 samples were tested at 28 days of age. From the test results, the increase in maximum concrete compressive strength was obtained for a diameter variation of 15,24 cm with a height ratio of 1, in the 28 day test the compressive strength value obtained was 19,74 MPa, and the minimum compressive strength was obtained for a variation of the specimen diameter of 10,15 cm with a height ratio of 3 , on the 28 day test the compressive strength value obtained was 15,04 MPa. Based on the test results, the ratio of height to diameter has an effect on the rise and fall of the compressive strength of concrete.
