Analisis Tebal Perkerasan Lentur Menggunakan Metode Mekanistik Empiris Dengan Program Kenpave Dan Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan 2017 (Studi Kasus Jalan Teluk Lembu Ujung Sta. 1+900 – 2+900 Kota Pekanbaru)
ABSTRACT
Good or bad a road construction is determined by how the road designed. Designing road pavements is mandatory to follow the guidelines that have been set and in accordance with the conditions of the area. This research was conducted to design the thickness of the flexible pavement using two methods namely the empirical method according to the Road Pavement Design Manual (MDPJ) 2017 and the mechanistic-empirical method with the help of the Kenpave program but adjusted to MDPJ 2017. The research location is on Jalan Teluk Lembu Ujung STA. 1+900 – 2+900 Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The analysis phase starts with empirical design using the MDPJ 2017 method and from the original thickness of the pavement is then controlled by mechanistic-empirical methods. From the design empirically obtained thick Asphalt concrete wearing course (AC-WC) 4 cm, Asphalt concrete binder course (AC-BC) 6 cm, Asphalt concrete base (AC-Base) 15.5 cm, and the top fondation layer class A 30 cm For empirical mechanistic design by considering economic factors, AC-WC surface layer thickness of 4 cm, AC-BC layer of 6 cm, AC-Base layer of 15.5 cm, and upper foundation layer of class A 30 cm were obtained. The damage will occur at a rep load of 23,076,772 CESAL5 until fatigue cracking damage occurs and 4,215,290,547 CESAL5 until permanent deformation damage occurs, the results of this design are close to the planned CESAL value of 21,777,935 CESAL5. This analysis shows that the thickness of the bending pavement designed empirically mechanistic is very effective to use because the thickness of the bending pavement layer is thinner than the thickness of the bending pavement designed empirically.
