ABSTRACT
Along with the development of the era, the growth of science and technology is happening so fast, all countries in the world are competing in developing science and technology, including Indonesia. One form of the Indonesian government's seriousness in supporting the development of science and technology is by issuing a policy regarding the development of Regional Science and Technology Demonstration Centers (PP-IPTEK) as a fun science and technology learning facility. The Science and Technology Demonstration Center in the city of Pekanbaru is expected to be a means of supporting educational activities and introducing knowledge in the field of Science and Technology to the public, especially children, in an interesting and interactive manner. The design of the Science and Technology Demonstration Center in the city of Pekanbaru uses a High-Tech Architecture approach that supports the function of this demonstration center as a recreation area based on education and technology. The High-Tech Architecture approach is a way to show that this Science and Technology Demonstration Center will later have a modern look and have a vision for the future. There are several types of analysis used in the Design of the Science and Technology Demonstration Center, namely analysis of people, environment, buildings, and analysis of buildings based on high technology. The results of the design are space requirements, site zoning, building mass composition, and pre-design physical drawings.
