Perancangan Sirkuit Balap Di Kota Pekanbaru Dengan Pendekatan High-Technology

ABSTRACT
Motorcycle racing is an automotive sport, especially two-wheeled vehicles that compete with each other to achieve a victory in an organized competition. Motorcycle racing competitions are usually carried out in places that have been designed in such a way as to achieve racing standards and safety standards in the match. Currently, motorcycle racing championships are experiencing significant development, especially in Pekanbaru City. This is indicated by the number of championships held in Pekanbaru City and the number of motorcycle racing communities that increase every year. However, the existing racing track area in Pekanbaru City is only semi-permanent which is not safe enough for racers to take part in the motorcycle racing championship and disturbs other motorized road users when crossing the area around the track. Therefore, it is necessary to design a circuit in Pekanbaru City to facilitate a motorcycle racing championship that is often held in this city. The design of this circuit is functioned as a means of road race and drag race competition with 150 cc class. The design of the racing circuit in Pekanbaru City applies the High Technology approach to implement a high technology to support all activities in the racing circuit and is expected to be one of the iconic designs in Pekanbaru City.
