ABSTRACT
Lapin Beach is one of the beaches located on Rupat Island, Bengkalis Regency
with a beach area of ± 300 m² and covered with clean white sand. In thisbeach area
every year a beach event is held called the Safar bathing event which holds various
kinds of competitions such as jong, tops, kites, and so on. This research starts from
the framework of thinking that Lapin Beach on Rupat Island is one of the famous
beach resorts and has even become one of the pride of the Bengkalis government, but
the facilities on Lapin Beach are still inadequate, especially in the residential part.
The design method used in the design of this Lapin eco-lodge is the
comparative method. In this design method many processes are carried out, both
using research methods that are quantitative-correlative analysis, namely findingand
establishing correlations between research variables. This method is an
explanation/description of the phenomena that are happening at this time along with
the literature that supports the theories being worked on.
The results of this study are to find out and/or test the differences between two
or more groups.
