Analisis Prioritas Pengembangan Alat Penangkapan Ikan Berdasarkan Status Keramah Lingkungan Di Kepulauan Meranti Riau
Abstract
This research was conducted from April 20 to May 4 2021 at Meranti Riau with the aim of finding out the level of environmental friendliness of the fishing gear used by fishermen and to find out what fishing gear will be a priority for development in catching fish at Meranti Riau. The method used in this research is a survey method and the determination of respondents is carried out through a purposive sampling technique with the consideration that all respondents in the study are actors. The results of the study show that fishing gear that is included in the high category or very environmentally friendly is gillnet, bottom gillnet and sondong fishing gear. Moderate or environmentally friendly fishing gear is the squeezing gear and low or environmentally unfriendly fishing gear is the swaying gear and based on process hierarchy analysis (AHP), the order of fishing gear that can be developed is based on environmentally friendly status, namely from the first priority order until the last priority is fishing gear for gillnets, bottom gillnets, sondong, crusher and sway.
