Analisis Pengaruh Parameter Pemasakan Continuous Digester Terhadap Kappa Number Pre O2 Di Fiberline #3a
ABSTRACT
The cooking process of pulp can be considered successful if the desired kappa target is achieved. There has been technological change in the pulp making process, particularly in the cooking process which includes a shift from using a super batch digester to continuous digester, requiring a reassessment of each cooking parameter that affect kappa number. Through this research, the influence of continuous digester cooking parameters on kappa number will be determined and the parameter that has the most significant impcat on kappa number will be identified so that the continuous digester cooking process can prodeuce the desired kappa number. This study was conducted by linking secondary data for each cooking parameter to kappa number using scatter graph, where the scatter graph will show the relationship and correlation of each parameter to kappa number. Based on the analysis, it was found that the parameter that affect kappa number are AA charge, h-factor, blow flow, impregnation bin temperature, digester temperature, radial digester flow, and bulk density with R2 value in a manner consecutive is 0.8241; 0.8944; 0.8578; 0.7639; 0.8139; 0.8454; 0.7163. The parameter that has the most significant impact on kappa number is h-factor.
