Pengujian Permeabilitas Tanah Di Kecamatan Tuah Madani Kota Pekanbaru

ABSTRACT
The development of infrastructure development in Indonesia is increasing in various areas such as the construction of reservoirs, ponds, dams and other constructions. One of the important things that form the basis of development is the land because almost all buildings stand on the ground. Therefore, it is necessary to know the type of soil used and the permeable nature of the soil. Soil permeability describes the ability of the soil to allow water to pass through. The test method was carried out by percolation test, where the test area was in Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City. This test is carried out to determine permeability (soil absorption capacity) and to find out what type of soil is in the area. The results obtained from the soil permeability test showed that the average soil type in the Tuah Madani District was fine sandy soil.
