Perancangan Museum Migas Di Duri Dengan Pendekatan Bioklimatik
ABSTRACT
Crude Oil and Natural Gas are non-renewable natural resources because they take a long time to manufacture. The City of Duri has a large field which has donated millions of barrels of oil to Indonesia. This achievement is immortalized by two monuments which have now been built on Jl. General Sudirman. From the history that has existed for the achievements of the city of Duri, which has contributed greatly to donating its crops to the country, a museum was built. In this big contribution, of course it is supported by tools that have been used for years, the more advanced the technology, the tools used will certainly change. For this reason, this museum will later provide education about the tools used in the process of petroleum production, which stores the tools used in work in the upstream oil and gas sector, precisely in the exploration and exploitation/production section. And also this museum is a place to socialize to the public to be good at saving energy. Bioclimatic architecture is used as an approach in this design which is a form of architecture in saving energy while maintaining thermal comfort by adjusting to the surrounding climate.
