ABSTRACT
Motorcycles are two-wheeled vehicles driven by engines. the location of the motorcycle's wheels is parallel and at high speed the motorcycle still runs stably caused by gyroscopic forces. Meanwhile, at low speeds the balance or stability of the motorbike depends on the settings by the rider. In this era, many teenagers who have a hobby of gathering and modifying motorbikes. Usually they gather to talk about the advantages of motorbikes, apart from motorbike modifications, not infrequently motorbike lovers also get together to do touring together. Due to the absence of a special place for the motorcycle community to gather, many of these motorcycle communities have chosen to gather on the roadside. This is less efficient because it can disturb road users. Therefore we need a place that can be used as a modification center and also for the gathering of motorbike riders in Pekanbaru. Because there should be a gathering place for motorcycle enthusiasts to channel their hobbies, this design is necessary so that the motorcycle enthusiast community does not use the shoulder of the road as a gathering place and does not disturb road traffic. This design uses a High Tech architectural approach. High Tech Architecture is a style of building design with certain standards that are arranged and arranged in such a way that the aim is to solve existing problems by using functional and aesthetically pleasing building materials. The High Tech building is designed to facilitate various activities. This design aims to be a community center and motorbike modification in Pekanbaru. This design concept is in accordance with its function, namely change, which means change, where the motorbike is modified from what was originally factory default to a modified motorbike form according to the wishes of the rider.
