ABSTRACT
Animation is a free medium of expression that can manifest creativity, something that has never existed before, and imagination becomes something real, and always evolves to keep up with the times and technology. Thismakes the function of animation not only as an entertainment but also as a work of art with various functions delivered in visual form such as advertising, educational, as well as marketing media packaged with moving images so that information can be conveyed properly and interesting from a visual point of view. Enthusiasts, and the animation community are spread all over the world, including in Indonesia, especially the city of Pekanbaru. Apart from the Pekanbaru animation community, there are also schools and courses that teach animation in theory and practice. This indicates that there is interest and talent in Pekanbaru community in the field of animation. However, most animation connoisseurs prefer to watch animated shows by foreign animators. The unpopularity of local animation can also be caused by the unavailability of a facility as a means of improving the quality of local animation and media that showcases their work to increase appreciation and introduce local animation to the wider community. Therefore, we need a container that can answer these problems. Animation Creative Hub is a response because it facilitates animation production activities, communities, exhibitions, training and cinemas to show local animation. Animation Creative Hub uses a Futuristic Architecture approach whose design is directed towards the future, free in expressing ideas, as well as unusual shapes. With the development of Animation which is progressing every year with increasingly sophisticated innovations, using a Futuristic Architecture approach can follow and be in line with these developments.
