ABSTRACT
Education is a major requirement in improving the quality of Human Resources. Educational institutions that create human resources with certain skills are Vocational High Schools. The purpose of designing SMK is to accommodate learning activities according to the needs and regulations that apply. One of the potential areas of expertise in Indragiri Hilir Regency is the plantation sector, because Indragiri Hilir Regency is known as the Expanse of the World Coconut. With the Plantation Vocational High School, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of human resources in Indragiri Hilir Regency. The Plantation Vocational High School was designed with a Sustainable Architecture approach that applies efficient use of energy, materials and land, with the aim of giving the impression of being comfortable and safe during learning activities.
