Analisis Fenomena Bog Burst Di Pesisir Desa Simpang Ayam Pulau Bengkalis Menggunakan Data Uav (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)
ABSTRACT
The coastline of Bengkalis Island has changed in recent years due to high abrasion rates, reaching up to 32.75 m / year. In general, there has been a lot of damage in the form of coastal abrasion and destruction of mangrove forests in the coastal areas of Bengkalis Island. One of the phenomena of peat damage on the north coast of Bengkalis Island that occurs is the bog burst phenomenon. In an effort to understand the bog burst phenomenon, it is necessary to analyze various aspects of this phenomenon. The use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle technology or UAV as a remote sensing tool is very good because it produces images with a higher resolution than satellite image data. The research method was carried out with a digitation analysis using a GIS program. The results showed that the degradation of peaty beaches that occurred on the north coast of bengkalis island was caused by high levels of abrasion. Degradation by bog burst that occurred in the span of 2018 - 2022, which amounted to 3,350 Ha in 4 years or 0.838 Ha / year. The largest abrasion rate that occurs on the north coast of bengkalis island is 14.75 meters / year with the EPR method and 14.71 meters / year with the LRR method. While the rate of land loss due to abrasion is 1.04 Ha/year.
