Penerapan Teknologi Pemanenan Air Hujan Skala Individu Rumah Tangga Pada Daerah Rawa
ABSTRACT
Peat swamp is an organic soil environment with high water content, low carrying capacity and high degree of acidity. In the Siak Regency area, the soil structure generally consists of red-yellow podzolic soil made of rock and alluvial and peat soil or swamps. Siak Regency has the potential for surface water originating from the tributaries that flow in each DAS which can be used as a source of raw water in the Clean Water/Drinking Water service system. There are quite a number of surface water sources in Siak Regency, but the water quality is not good, so it requires more intensive treatment. The test method is carried out with field data simulated using the Raincycle 2.0 auxiliary program, the input data model consists of the type of house, the roof model, the effective and optimal area of the rainwater catchment area (m2), the amount of daily rainfall in one year (mm/year), the coefficient drainage from the roof and water demand data based on the number of family members (m3/day). Rainfall data used for research comes from the Sumatra III River Basin Office (BWS) with the location of the Bunga Raya (Siak) rainfall recording station from 2016 to 2022. This test was carried out in Rempak Village, Siak District, Siak Regency, Riau Province.
The results of the study prove that the optimal contribution of rainfall to obtain clean water is by applying rainwater utilization technology to support the fulfillment of clean water needs on an individual household scale in a 220 m2 gable house type.
