ABSTRACT
The main problem in big cities like Pekanbaru City related to the city's drainage system and its environment is the occurrence of inundation floods. These inundated floods indirectly have social and economic impacts and become obstacles in educational activities, the mobility of goods and services. Many areas in Pekanbaru City experience frequent flooding and one of the areas in Pekanbaru City that is affected is Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City. Therefore, in writing this final project, the author will map the groundwater table and soil permeability in Tuah Madani District using the ArcGIS application program to provide data for planning infiltration wells as a way to control rainwater runoff, so choose a good method to handle it. This problem is made in the ArcGIS application program so that we get a mapping for groundwater table data and soil permeability in Tuah Madani District. It can be concluded that there are 3 points that meet the SNI requirements for planning infiltration wells from the results of data processing matching the Groundwater Level and Soil Permeability, namely at point 4 which is in Air Putih Village, 16 in West Sidomulyo Village, and 30 in Sialangmunggu District.
