ABSTRACT
At this time the need for housing is very important, due to the increasing number of people from year to year. However, due to the limited amount of residential land in a crowded area, people make a new breakthrough by building houses in stages. In the construction of residential houses, the owner should use a Budget Plan (RAB) and plan drawings. In writing this Final Project, the author wants to design or plan a two-story residential house for 5 residents with a land area of 300 m2. House planning is also followed by the calculation of the Budget Plan (RAB). Based on the planned space requirements, the area obtained in the 2-storey residential house is 202.51 m². The designed room area has met the minimum standards according to the regulation of the minister of settlements and regional infrastructure No. 403/KPTS/M/2002. Based on the calculation of the Cost Budget Plan (RAB), the construction of this residence amounted to Rp1,191,468,000.00 (One Billion One Hundred Ninety One Million Four Hundred Sixty Eight Thousand Rupiah) with a cost per meter of building area of Rp. 5,883,502.049 (Five Million Eight Hundred Eighty Three Thousand Five Hundred Rupiah).
