ABSTRACT
Roads are vital facilities that need serious attention, so that people's activities in a city can be better. For this reason, well-conceived and well-planned road construction is needed to minimize the accident rate. And one of the ways to minimize the accident rate is the availability of road equipment facilities that work properly, are obeyed, and are used according to their functions. Installation of road equipment buildings aims to improve road safety, order and smoothness and provide regular movement of road users in traffic. Equipment buildings, namely pedestrian bridges, public transportation stops, parking areas, terminals, medians with/without dividing fences, sidewalks or islands with curbs. The placement of road equipment buildings is a reference or procedure for placing road equipment facilities. This study aims as follows, namely to determine the condition of existing road equipment buildings. Based on the discussion regarding the inventory of road equipment buildings on the Imam Munandar road section, Pekanbaru City, it can be concluded that on the Imam Munandar road section, Pekanbaru City, there are 7 (seven) road equipment buildings such as bus stops, TPB (TPKU), parking areas, medians without fences , Sidewalks with curbs, Sidewalks without curbs and Island with curbs. Unavailable buildings such as the Crossing Bridge and the Terminal. Buildings that meet the specifications are found in STA 4+500 ̶ 5+000 to STA 6+500 ̶ 6+900. While those that do not meet the specifications are from STA 1 (STA 0+000 ̶ 0+500) to STA 4+000 ̶ 4+500.
