ABSTRACT
Creative Center is a place that supports teenagers and adults to learn and develop in the creative industry that can hone their creative interests and talents through the activities provided. This Creative Center is used as a place to express and transform works into economic value. In addition, this building aims to increase creativity and a forum for education to continue to improve the capabilities possessed. The development of creativity is expected to be able to create human resources who have innovation. This will encourage these human resources to be creative and work in the midst of intense competition. The target of this building is all creative industry activists, especially those who have high creativity and integrity in the Riau region, especially Pekanbaru City. In addition, this design will implement a building that harmonizes between the site and nature so that the residents in it feel focused and comfortable doing activities using an Organic Architecture approach.
Organic architecture adapts the shape of the surrounding building context by utilizing contour and vegetation elements. Organic architecture also adapts to nature dynamically and not against nature, by bringing elements of authenticity and freshness into a building. The use of organic architecture creates a sense of being close to the natural surroundings through the building.
The design of the Pekanbaru Creative Center is a problem solver in Pekanbaru which uses a theme that is different from other buildings by giving a natural / natural impression to the building which makes building users feel more comfortable.
